Board of Health meetings typically take place on the second Wednesday of each month, excluding July and August. Meetings are held at Peterborough Public Health, unless indicated otherwise below. Agendas are posted on the Friday prior to each meeting, click on the appropriate date for the agenda package once it is available.
Meetings are open to the community and members of the media, however space is limited due to COVID restrictions. RSVPs and proof of immunization status are required to attend. Please send your RSVPs to email@example.com.

The Board of Health has three standing Committees: Governance, Indigenous Health Advisory Circle and Stewardship. Membership and meeting agendas are found below, and Terms of Reference can be viewed here. The Board Chair is an ex-officio member of all Committees.
Due to the pandemic, these Committees are on hiatus. Archived agendas and minutes are available by request via email, or call PPH at 705-743-1000.
Public Input at Board of Health Meetings
The Board of Health welcomes community input at meetings. If you wish to present information to the Board, please submit a written request to the Chairperson of the Board of Health at least 48 hours before the start of the meeting. This can be done via email, fax (705-743-1810) or dropped off at 185 King Street, Peterborough. Make sure to include your contact information so we can notify you if your presentation request has been accepted.
According to Board of Health policy, the Chairperson shall decide whether the delegation may make a presentation at a meeting and accordingly, shall inform the Medical Officer of Health whether to add the item to the agenda. Presentations shall not exceed 10 minutes except when answering questions posed by the Chairperson for clarification.
