The Board of Health welcomes community involvement to determine what public health programs and services are needed in Peterborough County and City. Public Health staff are always available to discuss any specific health issues and concerns with you.
You can also present any issues or concerns directly to the Board of Health. If you wish to present information to the Board, please submit a written request to the Chairperson of the Board of Health at least 24 hours before the start of the meeting. This can be done via email, fax (705-743-1810) or dropped off at 185 King Street, Peterborough. Make sure to include your contact information so we can notify you if your presentation request has been accepted.
According to Board of Health policy, the Chairperson shall decide whether the delegation may make a presentation at a meeting and accordingly, shall inform the Medical Officer of Health whether to add the item to the agenda. Presentations shall not exceed 10 minutes except when answering questions posed by the Chairperson for clarification.
