Religious services, rites, ceremonies and related celebrations must comply with the Reopening Ontario Act . During this time, it is recommended that faith leaders limit in-person services to keep everyone safe.

Limits for religious services rites or ceremonies, including wedding services and funeral services, where physical distancing can be maintained (applies in any venue other than a private dwelling):

  • Inside or outside: the number of people that can keep two metres physical distance from each other

Plainly, there are no linger capacity limits for the rite ceremony or service, provided that everyone has 2 metres to physically distance
