COVID-19 – Community Gardens, Pick Your Own Produce, and Gleaning

Community gardens and pick your own produce (including gleaning) are essential services. Please see the following resources designed to help keep community members safe and to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Curve Lake and Hiawatha First Nations, and the County and City of Peterborough.

Community Gardens

The following documents and signs are to support all community garden members with reducing spread of COVID-19. The COVID-19 Safety Plan for Community Gardens template is to help gardens develop safety plans outlining how they will apply COVID-19 guidance to their unique spaces. Completed safety plan templates should be saved and shared with all garden members.
