Tips to get active

  • Walk, run or bike instead of getting a ride
  • Do something you enjoy – play sports, run, bike, swim, skateboard, snowboard, ski, skate, toboggan
  • Try new activities – Check out yoga, hip-hop, or aerobics classes, or indoor rock climbing
  • Take the dog for a walk
  • Dance to your favourite music
  • Rake the leaves, shovel snow, help carry the groceries
  • Join a team at your school
  • Set physical activity goals with your friends and family
  • Reduce screen time
