Wash your hands!

Handwashing is the best way to prevent the spread of infection and to get rid of germs that stay on your hands and are passed to objects or people

Always wash your hands:

  • Before preparing food
  • After going to the bathroom
  • After touching raw meat
  • After coughing or sneezing
  • After handling pets and animals
  • After being outside
  • Anytime your hands are dirty

  • wash your hands with warm soapy water for a minimum of 15 seconds. This will remove most of the germs
  • Use and alcohol-based hand sanitizer if there is no water nearby
  • Clean your hands often and the right way
