The Peterborough Public Health (PPH) is a registered charity and appreciates the support from all of our new and regular donors!
As a local public health agency, PPH is mandated by the Province of Ontario and the Ontario Public Health Standards, 2008, to provide mandatory programming related to family health, chronic disease and injury prevention, environmental health, infectious diseases, and emergency preparedness. However, there a number of local programs and initiatives that could not continue without your generous support.
The following PPH-supported programs can accept charitable donations:
- Collective Kitchens
- Come Cook With Us
- Community Kitchen (Myrtle’s Kitchen)
- Contraceptive Assistance Fund
- Dental Treatment Assistance Fund
- Food for Kids Breakfast Program
- Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Equipment and Supply Fund
- Prenatal Classes for Young Parents

Donations by Cash or Cheque
Donations can be dropped off in person, or cheques can be mailed to: PPH, Attn: Donations, 185 King Street, Peterborough, ON K9J 8M1. Donations over $20.00 will receive a tax receipt issued by PPH, this will be mailed out to you within a few weeks’ time after processing your donation.
Donations by Credit Card
PPH utilizes CanadaHelps, a safe and secure non-profit web site for credit card payment processing and instant tax receipting of donations.
To process your gift using a credit card, please proceed to our page located here. The process is very simple and should take a few minutes of your time!
Please note the payment will appear on your credit card statement as: ‘CanadaHelps CanaDon’.
